Constant crashes with F/A-18

[AAlex]

Flying in Caucasus on 2nd mini campaign mission. I'm using Oculus Rift CV1.

Drivers updated, OC disabled, shader folders deleted, ran repair, nothing helps. After about 10-20 minutes the game crashes back to desktop. Probably a 2.5.6 issue since it didn't happen in 2.5.5.

thanks for the data, please try my crash advice below, and also your pagefile is set very low, you may find increasing it helps

All my drivers are up to date further more - this is a fresh install on a fresh SSD drive. I did the install and transferred all my modules from previous installs as prompted. Replaced my config folder with the DCS stable version config folder (at saved games) to duplicate my control profile.

The reason I am mentioning this is to know if I did something wrong - like replacing config folder from stable version (2.5.5 to the new Openbeta 2.5.6) or transferring modules during installation process (as prompted).

I updated with today's patch and also set my paging file to 16GB. Unfortunately it still crashed after around 20 minutes. Latest log attached

Thanks just replayed the track but did not crash for me unfortunately.

 

Do you overclock your NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 by any chance or your processor?

New day, new patch, same crash.

Took about 10 minutes for it to happen. I am so looking forward to the day I can finally get back to playing this game, instead of reporting crashes.

0x00000000 seems a null pointer exception ( memory allocation failure and so on.. )

 

Did you have you monitored the memory usages of your machine while playing ( Task Manager ) ?

Game Crash

 

Latest update, Fw-190D-9 Instant action 1 vs. 1 Caucuses map. Repeatable. Ran three times crashed within a few minutes by freezing.

 

Back to school work and crypto mining. Will wait for new update to fix. Seems like a lot are experiencing similar. I have faith in ED.

Downloaded the latest patch and updated. And I just finished 2 missions in a row without crashes. And even somewhat improved performance. So I consider this issue resolved.

 

So glad I can go back to flying now, and just in time before the Supercarrier is released.

I am experiencing crashes too.

 

 

It happens with the Hornet after getting killed.
