SuperKungFu Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 that's a nice model. Wish we had something like that. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
VMFA117_Poko Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 D version. The old timer. Are they flying yet?
amalahama Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 D version. The old timer. I think it's a H version. Look the nose B-52H B-52D Regards!!!
VMFA117_Poko Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 You're right. It's not D. But it could be a G model...?
HungaroJET Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 :) http://www.captainsim.net/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1196789767 WOW...SHARP...nice 3D model ! Atop the midnight tarmac, a metal beast awaits. To be flown below the radar, to bring the enemy his fate. HAVE A BANDIT DAY ! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "When I'm working on a problem, I never think about beauty. I think only how to solve the problem. tacit_blue Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 This is unbelievable!! Is there a chance that Capt Sim could provide this model B-52D to ED?? There must be hundreds of man hours to create something like the "BUFF"...The old model in Lomac needs a replacement badly. Capt Sim you should join LOFC and DCS-BS. E-3B Sentry --Don't leave without 'em--
Mnemonic Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 I think they will no join ED because they made they own product. But they're aircrafts are very good and detailed, so I look forward to it!
leafer Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 I think they know or knew each other. When Captain Sim released their Mig-21 add-on, years ago, they showed up at the flanker forum to plug the release, and there was a discussion about how they should join forces to dominate the world of flight simming. Something to that effect... Btw, I bought the Mig-21 and it was absolutely brilliant. ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
Mnemonic Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 If they became partners - it will be really nice :) I saw this MiG-21 too, it's absolutely realistic. I know one pilot, that was a pilot of MiG-21 and he told me that CS MiG-21 is the best in flight dynamics and other stuff. More among others he liked "Long range" modification in sim, because it was most adequate.
VMFA117_Poko Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Captain Sim are Russians too - am I right?
Kusch Posted December 11, 2007 Author Posted December 11, 2007 And Ukrainian. Give me "flying telephone pole" (SA-2)!
Villicus Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Captain Sim made the F-18 for the Acceleration expansion pack for Microsoft FSX. I don't see why they couldn't make a model for DCS. ED Team Chizh Posted October 16, 2008 ED Team Posted October 16, 2008 Looks impressive! Единственный урок, который можно извлечь из истории, состоит в том, что люди не извлекают из истории никаких уроков. (С) Джордж Бернард Шоу
Kuky Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 (edited) wow :bounce: ... that's one really beautiful 3d model! :worthy: Now, what is this captain sim? hitman Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 I have their F/A-18D and its modelled stunningly. I might get this B-52D for stick time on heavies. Too bad FSX doesnt model any aircraft with more than 4 engines...cheeses me because my B-36 has 10 engines. I even have their C-130 package...just picked THAT up last week too. All I can say is SWEET!
crazyeddie Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 I have their C130 in FSX. FSX is boring compared to this sim, but that C130 is really nice to fly and it looks right. That Buff looks good, nice levels of detail
