I wonder how it performs. It looks it may bring my pc to its knees. Sometimes even in game carrier with some hornets cause fps drops

Its going to be brutal. It looks great but right now, the stennis with a few static parked aircraft turns my fps into a slide show. But, i.m talking VR. In 2D it should be fine.

Seeing some smooth VR gameplay footage from ED (with info on the used system spec), would be reassuring :)

Note how he had lowered some of his settings - no Heat Blur etc.

 

I just hope they don't release this module before sorting out the core of issues within 2.5.6, and equally ensure when released it doesn't cause even more memory leaks, Ctd's.

 

No one interested in serious multiplayer is chasing the Supercarrier at present that's for sure - especially when we still have ground and aircraft units lit up like christmas trees at night not to mention the instability that is 2.5.6.!

I dont play multi, and I don't play VR, because I dont have VR stuffs. So I was wondering, will I be able to play supercarrier at high settings. Now I play 2.5.6 OB at high.

My system is: i7 6820HK, 32GB DDR4 2166Mhz, GTX 1070 8GB and my DCS is on 480 GB ADATA gammix SSD.

Seeing any half decent mission running amoothly in DCS VR would be reassuring. But until the 3080 Ti releases, my 2080 Ti handles Half Life Alyx on the Reverb absolutely beautifully. Stunning game at a rock solid 90fps, everything maxed.

In my tests so far I have not seen a hit from the super carrier.

 

Performance is a big consideration for the team
