Kuznetsov model

Hi folks,

 

 

when I look at the Su-33 for DCS World product screenshots I see a much more detailed model of the Kuznetsov than what I am currently seeing in my sim.

 

 

Has this new model been widely released or was it used just for the screenshots?

Those photos are of the new Kusnetsov that’s included on the new Supercarrier DLC.

Yes, if someone wants to have the new Kuznetsov for his Su-33 but does not care about US aircraft and carriers, he still has to pay 50$ when the sale is over. Just for a new 3D model + textures.

Me three, was very close to pre ordering.

 

Yeah there’s a pre order sale. But F-18 owners get a discount.

 

If they ever port SC features to Kuz for the same package I’m in, but not getting my hopes up

You will probably be able to place static crew (animated) on the new Kuz. Don't know what would they do anyway for the skijump take off.

Yes, I love naval Operations, so I purchased the Hornet on january 2018 :smartass:

I love naval operations also, but didn’t want to buy F-18 as I prefer Eastern jets, so I and many others feel pretty left out. If Su-33 owners had a discount to make up for buying their module twice and can’t gift or had a fully featured Kuz, I would buy with no qualms

I bought the F-18 + Supercarrier + Su-33 kit just for Kuznetsov’s sake. And I already have GS3 ... yes, I'm crazy..

The SuperCarrier Module is currently at US$ 25 .. it doesnt seem steep, I cant think of a single component of my PC that would be cheaper .. perhaps my Mouse :joystick:

 

Maybe you can purchase it now just for the Kuznetsov and pretend that the rest of the money goes towards supporting the developer, who knows? perhaps on the future you could want to try the Hornet or the Tomcat and then you would be already set :)
