Authorization failed, bug ?

Since last update OB 2.5.6.50726 I have this message:

 

 

And ... I don't have (and never tried them) AV-88 N/A and Spitfire modules. Every time countdown is 2d 23h 59m

 

I think I'm not the only one to have message like this ?

Problem solved after 3 cleanup/repair, don't understand why the 2 first operations didn't work

Dont erase the thread, I have the same thing. Just for the F5E, which I dont own and never tried. Using steam edition FWIW. Also the F5 doesnt show in the main menu even as greyed out. Ill try the repair thing see if it solves it

 

edit: did 2 integrity checks, and the problem is still there. I feel silly trying again but hey.. if it worked for you

FWIW, after 3 integrity checks, the problem remains for me.

 

 

Its not a big deal, its only an extra click, but it may be indicative of something more important.

I just got a similar issue with todays update. My harrier and SC modules have been disabled. First try said it couldnt move a harrier dll, and second install try said something about a virus.

Auth error, AV-8 and F-14

 

Same, except it's the AV-8B and the F-14, both of which I own. If I remove both modules and reinstall both, the last one that gets installed is the only one I have available in the main screen. This happens in both OpenBeta and release.

I got the same thing today...except for user mods:

 

- Navy Equipment 1.3

- VPC-Airfield Equipment 0.9.4 beta

 

I have never had this message pop up for these mods until after installing the last patch (2.5.6.50979)

Same here. No mods. AV-8B has been disabled. I own it and cannot use it. Not very happy right now.

it is most likely a False Positive.

 

its just triggering because the manufacturers dont submit their exes/dlls etc... and its colliding with a hash of malware.

Same issue here. I own the AV-8B.

Yet it is ai only....

And there is no option to activate it.

It shows installed in the manager.

 

 

But I can not fly it......

 

 

Edit, FIX!

 

I just ran a repair. Windoz reports a virus.

I excluded the indicated DCS files and ran repair again.

 

 

All is well.
