Again, my apologies and god knows I hate to be a pinprick, but 99th_Flyby made me post this! I swear it wasn't my idea! :music_whistling: ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P

EvilBivol-1 Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 It has been a little quiet. Remember, we could not produce a video until we had received a new beta, which only happened last weekend. In general, Matt's January update still stands - much of the 'big' feature coding is nearly complete (although coding never really ends right up until - and after - release), although ED is still working on finishing a number of features, including the new interface, MP code and track system, and the ME. Then there are the endless tweaks to the Ka-50 itself, wingmen and AI. The 'big' tasks still remaining are mission/campaign/training content, the FUI manual section and the manual translations. Work is now going at full steam on these fronts and the first missions are already coming together in this latest beta. Personally I have more than enough sims to keep me busy until the release of BS (hehe just bought BoBII off eBay which is marvellous, although I get shot down by the those Bf-109 bastards all the time :doh:). I can guess that the final tweaking and bugfixing is really a time consuming task, but I don?t mind if it takes a few more months as long as the product is finished and hasn?t been rushed out of the door UBI-style just to make a few extra bucks. :)But You probably noticed less threads posted by people than couple months ago, didn't You? It's a fact. We can't make them to work or to stop either. Im LockOn addicted and my dealer is late with a deliver for me. Previous stuff (FC) doesn't work on me so hard as before ;)

At least we know BS is not vaporware (unlike my suspicions about some other new sims). We know what DCS is doing with the sim while we wait for a bit more info, and I'm cool with that. Meanwhile, there's Leafer to keep us honest, and occasionally provide a bit of levity to these forums. Oh we happy few...:D Flyby out (Leafer!
