Civilian objects (eg un-armed men / women)

It would be nice to have some men and women civilian objects (placeable groups etc) for the mission editor

Give them a few different clothing sets eg blue jean + white T-shirt etc etc

 

 

Just to populate the map when making missions

 

Would prefer normal DCS ground uint type instead of statics

Hi HC_Official. I agree. We tend to forget that a significant time in simulation is spent parking, taxying etc. on the ground. There is a real need for placeable people ( both civilians & unarmed military figures both modern and WW2) in different postures-(e.g. sitting lying and squatting on ground and standing with hands on hips). A couple of the new carrier personnel that move their bodies slightly are very realistic. I would also like to see a standing marshaller that raises his arms and motions you to your stand. He could be triggered when your plane enters a small trigger zone near the stand.

Perhaps some clever person could create some mods, or re-skin the existing figures to give us more variety.

As a matter of fact the supercarrier module addresses this issue in a very coy manner, as one can place deck crew anyway. The caveat is they are only visible to people who own the supercarrier.

Please, ED, give us one or two general civilians and, at long last, also a place-able pilot entity!

The latter does have all necessary animations already, the former could pretty much share them.
