Illuminated targets at night are very hard to aim because of some strange shadows when zooming. This mission is the Persian Gulf Ka50 Night hunt instant action DCS ver 2.5.6.55960

city lights are rendered, as if only within these two alternating frustums. expected behaviour is city lights to appear in the entirety of the shkval view.

note that while this bug appears most often when zoomed in, it actually affects both zoom levels.

You are right. I thought it was the fire light but if I remove the fire effect within th mission editor, the bug is the same.

Night lighting on the Shkval (and other TV sensors) has been broken since 2.5 and here we are again.

Are we supposed to wait another 2 years for a fix? Good to know how much ED cares about maintaining their content. This is just ridiculous.

My only guess as to why this inst fixed yet if A: waiting for Blackshark 3 which seems to be put to the side in order to get Apache out....  Or  B: waiting on the new thermal engine and maybe it redoes the Optical non thermal stuff to????

dear eagle dynamics,

this bug was reported over two years ago and is nearly five years old. today the only sensor you can utilize in ka-50 is still broken, and what more, it is still broken in your new black shark 3:

@BIGNEWY is it known to the BS3 team?
