My instinctive response, is your gpu is well below dcs’s min spec for vr... but without knowing your settings it’s difficult to be sure...

I agree with Daniel. The rearming menu chops down FPS. In the video below, I get an average of 86 FPS but it gets down to 21 FPS when browsing weapon categories. It seems this menu is very resource consuming.
 

I wasn't aware of this. I guess it's way easier to see when one has low average FPS.

 

(it's easier to identify cause and effect when playing video at x0.25)

The rearming interface is result of bad programming.

It is same thing in the mission editor as it isn the loaded module.

Browsing through the weapon choices gets far more resource hog more there are weapons in the list to browse. There are some modules that has about 10 or more entries in sub-menus (Bombs, Rockets, Missiles etc) and opening these sub-menus gets CPU spiking. 

 

Same thing happens with the module livery example in the mission editor, where it takes considerable resources to get just the 3D model as small window. 

The weapon loadout interface should be rewritten, as well remove the livery preview window from there to own separate entity that will not be loaded unless specifically requested to be shown. Like example allow user to select the livery from the list without preview, or then wait a while to load 3D model with livery library to be able browse them through and then select them there as well.

Hi all,

 

We have a fix coming in a future patch, the initial report was for rearm window creating stutter and it seems to be resolved internally now.

 

Hopefully you will see it in the next update or the one after.
