AnarchyZG Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 I find the JF-17 flight planning using F10 map perfect for multiplayer, any chance of Viper getting the same capability? 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] MATRIC developer Check out MATRIC and forget about keyboard shortcuts

fudabidu Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 For over a decade we had to manually create waypoints for all ED aircraft (unless set in ME, obviously) and I'm not expecting that to change all of a sudden. DTC is planned and setting waypoints might be the first feature to work. The ICP fits almost perfectly onto a regular keyboard (see picture). If you care about the default bindings (ie camera controls) you want to set up a modifier. I've chosen my joystick's pinky button for this. All my aircraft are set up like this and it works beautifully. In the Viper I take 10-15 seconds to enter a new waypoint and I can do it blind while looking at the map. Requires practice like everything else, but I think it's very worth it. 2
Madone Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 @fudabidu I'm fairly comfortable with my keybinds on the A/C's I fly and it's somewhat similar to what you did. The point here isn't about creating fast waypoints but about planning the whole flight with a strict time schedule and RP/CP/IP and whatnot, for me that means about 20+ waypoints depending on the mission, now that's a real pain to enter while in the cockpit when you're supposed to startup and fly right away. 2 Strike Posture Set CAS Center of Excellence Intel Core i5 4690k @4,6Ghz, Gigabyte GTX 970 OC, Gigabyte Z97-X, 16GB G Skill Sniper @2400, Samsung 860/850 EVO , Win 10 64 bits, Dual monitors 27"@144"Opentrack + TM Warthog + Saitek pro flight combat
