Alrighty. So I'm almost done unwrapping this thing, but I have a question for you guys. I think I figured out something that would make this model be just a little cooler, however it will take more time for me to get it working and tested.

 

I can either A) finish unwrapping it and release it when the texture is done. Then later re-release an updated .LOM of it.

Or B) Wait until I get this new idea done. The choice is yours..

You're asking us to make up a choice and one of the options we don't even know what it is?

 

Now you have 2 options... either release the "normal" model with finished mapping, texture etc... or think that people will like your new idea and wait till you finish that... only to possibly find people do not like it (the idea)

Well, I don't see how anyone would not like this extra thing, it will just take a little more time and I don't want to say what it is and spoil it. But if people want it now, I will give it out when its done and work on the extra part after

Well look at the bright side, at least now its easier to spot the BTR at night in our A-10s :P

Well, I think the disco tank (:D), was more of a preview of whats possible to add, u can have complex animation of objects that light up! and I think thats very interesting:)

Precisely. Did you guys think that was what I was actually making my btr into?!? Noooooooo. Like OldCrow said, that was just a test to see what I am able to do with lighting. Using that test I'm now able to show you a working preview of the surprise.

 

 

Headlights that actually light up, and brake lights that light up whenever the btr goes into a curve. Here is a video of both of them in action:

Yup. Its done, its off to ruggy for some awesome textures. Give me 10 mins and ill post a final 360 degrees render and a video of it in action
