Spiceman Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 (edited) The carrier is coming to a stop whenever one of the static tankers enters it's detection zone. Here are two missions, with the carrier being the only unit in them, and the boat is stopping. In one mission at around time 0825 and the other at 0900. In each case you can see the oil tanker enter it's zone. Edit.... it seems to happen when a static tanker is halfway between the detection range and engagement range. TonyG Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 I can replicate it happening in your miz files, and also in our server's miz files. I was chasing around other options, but everytime the carrier gets close to a static tanker, the carrier goes dead and can not be gotten moving again. We use Airboss (MOOSE) and it goes into an endless loop of trying to resume the route but it won't. Great find Spiceman, hope this can get addressed quickly. 9800X3D, MSI 5080 , G.SKILL 64GB DDR5-6000, Win 11, MSI X870, 2/4TB nVME, Quest 3, OpenHornet Pit

Nealius Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 This appears to be happening on the Channel map as well, possibly the static leisure boats along the coast.

I noticed there seem to be a line of tug boats (that actually move) on the Channel map that might cause problems. It would be good to be able to turn all static vehicles off in maps (such as static boats etc), and then have the model available. Or at least have it tied to the civilian traffic option. Or just give the AI simple collision avoidance logic, but that may be too difficult given AI aircraft's inability to avoid the ground.... 4
