Hi!

My friend wants to join me in my huey as my co-pilot.

How can we do this? Do i have to create an own server?

We just wanna try out...maybe some gun practising. is it possible to play the "gun practise" missions togeather (the mission that came with the huey).

Thanks in advance

Are you playing on public server? If so, all that he needs to do is to get onto that server, find which helicopter you ocupy and click on position he wants to take. You will receive a popu up window where you need to accept him into helicopter and that's it

a) go to multiplayer... browse for a server join, keep in mind ping and password (hint: when you highlight a server, details on what aircraft are available, make sure it has the UH1H

b) player A (the pilot) and player B (the gunner) joins the server

c) player A selects the UH1H role as pilot and jumps in the helicopter.

d) player B selects the UH1H gunner role , but has to wait for player A to confirm

e) player A will see a message about player A, and needs to confirm the request. once confirmed, player B will show up in the multiplayer slot.

f) once player B starts, now both of you are in the heli to do some damage...

OK that sounds not to complicated. I just ask because he is not sure if to buy it, cause the only reason for him is Multicrew in the Huey.

If i press "new Server" i can create one. So i can take any training mission i have and he can join me there?

Or do i have this often encauntered Ports problems that he cant join?

now you are talking about a different topic of creating a server.

i suggest you go to the multiplayer section for info or search on youtube..

https://forums.eagle.ru/forum/66-multiplayer/

the training missions are meant to be single player.. but i think it might be possible to use the .miz file and host a server with it..

before you get your buddy to buy huey, you might want to familiarize your self with creating servers, and loading missions.

joining the server is easy.. its creating one thats not.. easier to join someone elses server, if you want to just get started

This instruction will be very useful, thank you.

Hi.

Again, be aware he needs to have  the UH1 module in order to be able to fly in it, eeven as co pilot.

Besides that, usually MP is not a major problem, if you log into a public server. If you intend to host your own server and you are in a LAN, you should forward your ports in the router software to your PC internal IP. So, the easyest way is to log into a public server.

Thanks. Yes, sure, he needs the module. Thats clear.

We will check out. We just wanted to fly alone to get in to the materie...thats why i thought it would be maybe better to make an own server. but yes, this port forwarding is a pain in the ***.

I'm sure you could locate some MP Servers that aren't busy for you and your friend to log into.  Hosting a server is not the first route to take unless you have some computer skills, logging into one is much easier to start with.
