AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

Comparing the KA 50 and the AH 64 is nearly like Comparing Ferrari and Lamborghini for me.

To me Ferrari is superior. Lamborghini's all have the same body style.

lockheed_sr_71_blackbird_17975_by_bagera3005-d2zskxp.png I would love to see DCS Blackbird SR-71A but I know this will never happen. Besides what function would a spy plane serve anyway?

SR-71A would be a great addition actually. Have a crew flying voer spotting targets for an A-10C.

If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.

They wouldn't be spotting anything. Although the latest SR-71 capabilities probably included live transmission of data, it's quite unlikely that it would be useful for CAS.

You could give out coordinates and locations in real time for the A-10C's. Realistic, probably not, but it could prove useful.

Take a SR-71 try to climp in FSX on 35000 feet just over the Black sea area....

next step try to climp on 35000 feet on the detailed part of the Black sea area.

SR71 is a cool plane but useless here.

Other Cool airplanes.

Oh Isegrim, trust me, I know its useless in this sim. Thats why I said "Besides what function would a spy plane serve anyway?". But we all have an aircraft that catches our eye. SR71 just happens to be mine. I think its the neatest looking aircraft they ever made. So even though I know no one flies this aircraft anymore, even though I know with satellites it doesn't serve a function anymore, even though I know its useless in our sim the desire is still there to fly it in DCS fidelity.

By the way yes on B-52.

F-15

It may be getting a little long in the tooth, but its still the heavy weight champion of the world.

However it's not our turn so...now I'm assuming the mud-moving theme is over for a while, at least until the MI-24 comes out. So having said all that I have to select (insert drumroll here)

Mig-31 or JF-17

North American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco might be a cool aircraft to fly. I hear they are even upgrading it. I feel it is a good fit for DCS/LOFC2 while offering something unique.

Actually, it is still our turn. The dev team confirmed it is going to be a U.S. fixed wing fighter some time ago.

My personal ... F14 ... since all of em are shredded it's not gona happen.

I heat F15C is already in Lomac ... so I'm gona skip that and vote one for F18 with reason - Carrier landings! I would place F15 in second.

Aviate - Navigate - Communicate

Actually the wish list but there is alresady one there. For me it would have to be a merlin helo or tornado. Because of the two seat problem that might happen with the AI it`s unlikely but hey. It says most WANTED aircraft.

Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

Why is this poll posted in the KA-50 part of the forum?

If it was a poll for helo's I can understand it, but fixed wings?

Should be moved to the A-10 part.

This Topic was opend more early

than A10-C Topics or the the wish list.

Check out Date.
