Torsten Posted April 15, 2021 Posted April 15, 2021 After today’s update the HUD is gone, blank. Helmet mounted works fine. When I turn the top left wheel under HUD, then it flicks on briefly and is gone again. I deleted my lua and let dcs create a new one. Same situation. Can anybody help?

You don’t have the brightness wheel bound to any joystick control do you? Worth a check [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

I had problems very similar to what you describe if the Comms menu is open while I turn the HUD brightness wheel on. The Comms menu somehow prevents the mouse button from releasing, so any subsequent movement of the mouse continues to rotate the wheel, and often it rotates right back down to the off position. I learned to always close the Comms menu before clicking anything in the cockpit. "Subsonic is below Mach 1, supersonic is up to Mach 5. Above Mach 5 is hypersonic. And reentry from space, well, that's like Mach a lot."
Torsten Posted April 16, 2021 Author Posted April 16, 2021 Fixed. As mentioned by Machalot in different circumstances: the upper left wheel created false input to turn off hud. I could see it ever so slightly flicker. No idea why... I did run cleanup and repair as per video Bignewy. It works now. I do not have any mods at all. So something got corrupted during 2.7 install. Anyway, gorgeous clouds! Worth the extra fixing effort! Thank you all 1
