It would be nice if people can just click on an airport to get these charts. Currently I'm linking to hoggit/airmate/google etc. If you have them hosted I can just link to the charts, otherwise we could host them with the viewer. Either way is fine with me, although linking will ensure the users have the most up-to-date version, as I often make small unannounced changes to fix a typo or improve something: https://dimon.one/dimon/files/Aerodrome_Data_and_Frequencies/ 2 Dima | My DCS uploads

Tripack Posted October 11, 2024 Posted October 11, 2024 Thank you @Minsky for your fantastic work Do we have a logical explanation of why the UHF ATC frequencies on the Syria chart change regularly? We use UHF frequencies for our public server where there are human ATC controllers. Each time we have to change the presets of the aircraft, kneeboards etc... I imagine that must drive you as crazy as it does us. Tripack

Thank you! The gist of it is that when a frequency is not explicitly declared by the developer, it gets automatically assigned by the program. When developer changes frequency or adds a new airfield, that program then must reassign remaining frequencies to remaining airfields, which often lead to these reshuffles. The obvious solution would be to manually declare all frequencies, but that's either too bothersome, or technically impossible, or a mix of both. So the devs usually populate the VHF band with whatever they found in charts/google, and leave the other bands to chance. The above is true for every map in DCS, not just Syria. Ugra gets the most blame because their maps are more popular and more often receive major updates. Edited October 11, 2024 by Minsky 1 Dima | My DCS uploads

It would be really nice for people in the community like you and all those who keep DCS alive through public servers, to be able to avoid unnecessary and time-consuming work by blocking frequencies. @BIGNEWY isn't something that can be considered? Thanks 1

karpiyon Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 Can I download this in a spreadsheet format? Excel?
Pyrocumulous Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Just to make it difficult: for the AJS37 on the Kola terrain, if set to the "Use real, and DCS codes" or "Only use the real codes" the airbase numbers are different and the TILS channels no longer match those airbase numbers. For example: 1 Warthog HOTAS, VMAX Prime Throttle, TPR pedals, Kensington Slimblade Pro, Pimax Crystal, RTX 4090 FE, Asus ProArt X670E-Creator, Ryzen 7950X3D, 64gb DDR5.

Shrimp Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Hi @Minsky, Thank you for your excellent work. May I suggest that the aerodrome lists are divided by country, where applicable, as in the The Channel and Normandy maps? Cheers!!!
