So to clarify, are we saying that the -120s now have a greater chance of missing, or a lower chance of missing? 1

So to clarify, are we saying that the -120s now have a greater chance of missing, or a lower chance of missing? they have decreased the deviation, so a higher chance of hitting. Please note: INS / DATA link work is still ongoing, and Chaff fix is not in yet, still requires more testing. 2 3 Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Stearmandriver Posted May 5, 2021 Author Posted May 5, 2021 Understood! Not trying to nitpick anything, just curious. I guess I'm in the minority that's already been having good success with the -120s, but I can always use more help ;). 2
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted May 6, 2021 ED Team Posted May 6, 2021 No problem, and good to hear. Its very important to support your missiles, keep doing this and you will have a better hit rate. darkman222 Posted May 15, 2021 Posted May 15, 2021 Does not seem to work in this case. The bandit didnt use chaff, and the aim120 pulled only between 4 and 6 Gs. Why did the proximity fuse not engage ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QoFDnW8TxA https://www.dropbox.com/s/2dgd6iavp0pyijb/mobettameta's Dogfight Arena v1.20-20210515-134735aim120.trk?dl=0
DLEGION Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 aim120 in DCS (or at least when used by F18, i use only that) are really unrealiable, are waay inferior to aim7 (the missile it should replace, and consider its version c5 we have in DCS) here tacview. they simply get notched when aim7 dont even without chaff use. 270-aim7-reliable-aim120-not.zip.acmi 1
