Associated Bug Topic Titles Target locks for BVR, RWS or TWS keep and keep disappearing for no reason A-A ACM problem locking target with ACM Mode AN/APG-73 Radar loosing contacts very frequently [CHECKING] Radar Acquisition PRF Issues [CHECKING] No Range Gate on Radar Tracks in MEM Can easily detect and lock missiles with radar (also shoot them down) My ACM mode is also locking up targets +99 miles away. Also documented but unable to find the post. Wag's YouTube video, "DCS: F/A-18 Hornet Available Now!" video is 3 years, 1 month and two days old as of this post, so I don't think it's inappropriate to ask now when the Hornet will be out of "early access", or at least have the radar issues resolved. 5 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I had simlair issues like OP, my hornet radar have difficulities TWS locking AI mig29s, it only able to pick them up at around 40nm, and the lock keep dropping, which made most of my aim120 launched at 30nm lose track and went into space. I even set the scan zone to 20degree, and its still cannot get reliable TWS lock, I also tried HI mode, which also dosent help. I played the exact same mission on F16C and F15, both had little to no issue locking all 4 migs from above 50nm, and they all can guide my aim120c to pitbull without dropping locks.
