DmitriKozlowsky Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 Latest Beta build. TPOD slew is wacked. Makes no sense. Cannot be recentered- quickly I am not certain what exactly is going. If TPOD slew que goes out of HUD, auto-slew to WP or to TGT, I am then unable to recenter it without difficulty. Controls become counter intuitive. UP is DOWN but sometimes LEFT. LEFT become UP then RIGHT. Even resetting TPOD by cycling STBY fails to resolve. I have to do this HOTAS gymnastics. Feels like TPOD is gimbal locked and confused with control reversal. Sensor Select DOWN (double tap) then AG TGT UNDESIGNATE then Sensor Select DOWN (double tap) again to have centered que. This is slow and cumbersome. Kind of works badly, and can get confusing. Especially if TPOD is being masked by own fuselage. By intuition AG target reject should automatically re-center with in 1 second. 1
Nealius Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 (edited) Not sure what you're doing, but it works fine on my end. DESG boxed, TPOD is slaved to waypoint. SS Depress twice, slew to my liking. Unbox DESG (not sure if necessary), NWS button tap, TPOD is boresighted with no fuss. The only minor issue I have is the slewing speed randomly switching between fast and slow, depending on FOV. Callsign Opossum Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 If you could attach a trackfile we could help you better.
Hornet81 Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 @DmitriKozlowsky Thanks for the report. Could you be so kind to attach a Track so we can analyze your issue?

Thanatos31 Posted September 8, 2021 Posted September 8, 2021 (edited) Please be sure to be in TPOD mode not INS or MAP DES. If you're in the latter, you basically slew "on" a 2D map inside the harriers software, and it will not slew within your 3D perception as you look at the MPCD. Also, to re-center , try hitting undesignate / NWS button. to add - if this doesnt fix it ( or I misunderstood you post) please also read this post : Edited September 8, 2021 by Thanatos31 Come fly with us : https://discord.gg/tawdcs TAW CJTF 13 - EU TZ MilSim Squadron Ryzen 5 5600X | 32GB DDR4 3733| ASUS Radeon RX 6700 XT | ASrock B550 Phantom Gaming 4 | HP Reverb G2 | Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle , F16 & F18 grips , TFRP Rudders | Win 10

In the controls menu it's labeled, confusingly, SS DOWN. I say confusingly because "down" can be misunderstood to be "aft" if you're converting from AF jets like the Warthog or Viper, where "down" equates to "aft." 1

FupDuck Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 I was having this issue as well, but when I looked closer it was because the TPOD screen had switched out of "TPOD mode", if you can call it that. Double tapping the SSS down button gets it working properly for me again, as described above (you will see TPOD XXXX on the screen, where XXXX is the laser code). I don't think this is a bug, it's just the way she goes with the TPOD!
