Hi there!

I`ve found some "green" Thunderbolts of the USAF Weapons School (Nellis AFB) at the airliners.net, but all those photos were dated by 1980s...

 

They do have somewhere?

The European Cammo pattern has not been on flying aircraft for some time. The best source for the pattern is at Dons Color

Sorry if it seems offtopic - I just was a bit out of the loop when I spoke to one of you folks on the 159th server earlier tonight. I wasnt mentally connecting "Nellis" to this, until now. oops :)

So - <facepalm> - Nellis of course.

 

Now move along - nothing to see but people falling out of the MP server and rambling about ...

:P that was me. I didnt say it exactly like that but similar :) Im asking around trying to see what people might want to hear about in future updates so I can write a new update that people will like.

Ah, hehe. You got me - I was mentally inhibited atm - flying at 20m above ground and dodging SAMs - besides you used a clan tag I didnt regonize there and then :)

 

Well, the word is out - you have way too little to do atm, flying around on some random server and having fun. Time to get back to work :D

Davis Monthan AFB is a flying school primarily for A-10s, Nellis AFB a shooting and training range for a multitude of aircraft.

 

Pretty obvious why Nellis was chosen - well, at least IMHO.

I got this charts from FAA website, I'll try to find Creech there, not having to much luck. Very good view in Google maps tho. I will try the Creech website as well. Be back in a bit. :book:

I hate that movie, "Fighter Pilot Operation Red Flag" could have been so interesting, yet they made it so horribly lame. I think "Speed and Angels" is so much better, even PBS did a better job that "Operation Red Flag" with their series "Carrier" just my 2 cents

So many inaccuracies, is like watching "Iron Eagle"
