Thank you for the OH58-D profile. I'm probably stupid and know it's WIP but I can't see the MFK icons that your image shows, for me it shows a ? and green text. Do I need to install additional icons/scripts from somewhere to use?

Do you have DCS-Interface installed? Check the first post.

Hello @Bailey, I have a proposition for the F-4 export script.

At the moment the reticle depression button exports a rounded value.

This means that for depressions like 17 and 34 mils, the result is rounded to 0.1.

Could you update the value to 3 digits, so as to have respectively 0.07 and 0.145 ?

This require the following change from

--line 205
[267] = "%.1f",  -- Reticle_Depress_Knob {0, 0, 1, Change Reticle Depression (mil)}

to

--line 205
[267] = "%.3f",  -- Reticle_Depress_Knob {0, 0, 1, Change Reticle Depression (mil)}

Basic F-4E Phantom that has a few read outs, and what you need to drop some bombs.

White Border with green text is a readout not a button

Most icons are just from the plane, and roughly in the locations correlating to the planes layout.

Has a few shortcuts to speed up things -

- Reticle presets set to mavericks (45) or Zero or Wall Eye

- Weapon Delivery there is a Reset to Off to setup for Air to Air.

-Sel Stores sets the jettison knob to Stores (for fuel tank jettison)

The + are folders, and are incomplete.

Hello Salival!

You seem to have some Symbols for the F4E. Can you share the symbols without the profile?
I guess this would be much appreciated.

I´am using the streamdecks with the DCSFP software for data export. There´s everything custom made.
I could really make use of your great symbols.

F-4E Icons.zipThese may or may not help. Most are just screen grabs from the cockpit in on/off positions. I use some of the lighter versions for the On/activated positions so i can easily check they're turned on at a glance. Eg. The Master Arm with the red outline.

Has anyone linked a profile for the F4E? Here's what i've been using, its pretty basic from the first LUA you guys worked on. I'd love if someone had something more complete with all the fancy stuff.

Thanks

Thanks for the encouragement. It's very kind. I've been very busy unfortunately with family/work.

Apologies my profile has not really progressed, in the end I thought there would be talented persons out there that would make it obsolete.

Thanks for reminding me, I intend to revisit or add improvements as suggested.

Unfortunately, a fully populated MB-339 lua file is unlikely due to the time and effort it would take me to make it. You can follow the steps above to make the base lua file as an exercise.

Edit: I had already started doing a MB-339A lua. If you or anyone else would like to continue my efforts, let me know and I can send or post the incomplete file. The biggest difficulty is that the aircraft is not only a 2 seater, but there are 2 versions. This, more or less, means that the effort required for complete luas will be that of almost 4 separate single seater aircraft.

Let me know if you want me to post what I have into the library.

coming back to your old offer. Fall in love to the MB339 and want to make a script. If you can send me yours as a start, that will be nice.

F-4E XL Profile V.02

-Finished Cold Start Page

-Nav Page Nav Knobs and FD switch (WIP)

-Added a JESTER folder - Added ASPECT

(Other settings I tried Jester would just reset to continue his normal scan pattern.) People can add their own keybinds bound from keyboard here.

- Small changes to certain buttons in the on position - they're brighter - just helped me check they're in the ON position at a quick glance.

FYI nothing would be done without @Bailey work. I have no idea what version of the LUA i'm using so i've added mine here that this profile works with currently.

P.S

Bailey any idea if the SAI button is implemented?

Thank you for sharing your profile. The lua on the git is a bit newer. Can you backup yours and try this one (https://github.com/asherao/DCS-ExportScripts/blob/master/Scripts/DCS-ExportScript/ExportsModules/F-4E-45MC.lua)? Let us know if it works. If it does, would you like the SD profile to be added to the Library?

I am not seeing much about the SAI in the lua 😕

Uploaded. Remember, this is WIP and only serves to give you an idea of what a profile could look like in its early stages. Don't mind the AI directional pics 😄. Just a heads up, there are a lot of hotkey commands. You will have to deconflict on your own, or wait for my VoiceAttack profile to release 😉

Updated to remove 99% of keybind buttons. I found a way to do the Barundus commands directly. Note that the art is not yet re-implemented. It is still a very WIP, but functional, profile.
https://github.com/asherao/DCS-ExportScripts/blob/master/docu/StreamDeck Examples/OH-58D Kiowa by Bailey WIP.streamDeckProfile

@salival007, I have found a way to call the jester commands without using keybinds which will allow the profiles to be sharable without extra steps. On the SD put in a Momentary Button/Display (UFC) tile from DCS-Interface. Open `DCS\Mods\aircraft\F-4E\Cockpit\command_defs.lua`. Scroll down to the JESTER_WHEEL section. Note that it is device ID 78. Put that as the Device ID in the Tile. You will see a list of commands in the JESTER_WHEEL array. The first one is a Button ID of 3001. The second is 3002, and so on. You can do some maths with the code line number to figure out the deeper ones. This number is what you will put in as the Button ID for the tile. Keep the Send Values as default (as far as I can tell). Doing the above will allow you to use all(?) of the Jester Wheel commands without keybinds. You don't even need the wheel visible.

Examples:
- Button ID of 3004 and a device ID of 78 will command Jester Option 1.
- Button ID of 3078 and a device ID of 78 will command Jester to navigate with TGT 1.
- Button ID of 3079 and a device ID of 78 will command Jester to navigate with TGT 2.

Try it out! Looking forward how you get on with it!

Cool find, I did have a quick look, i'm not sure what of those commands would be useful to people. Tested the basic navigating the menu buttons which works well. Since I have them bound to my HOTAS though its a not really worthwhile for me to use via the streamdeck. If I could find the DCS ID equivalents for a readout it may be handy to see when the Jammer is ON/OFF and what setting things are in on Jesters end.

Thank you for all your wonderful work. I have created a profile for F-4, and the pilot section is fully done.

Hi Bailey,
Thank you very much for the clarification. I wish I had the time and knowledge to do so 🙂
I am attaching what I have created so far, it's the full cockpit Pilot side (only 2 keys are missing) it's just an early version.

Hope all the icons work.

I got a thing working, haven't tested it thoroughly. But it worked to display Alt Pressure.

function ExportScript.Pilot_Altimeter_Pressure(mainPanelDevice)
local Altimeter_Pressure_Readout = mainPanelDevice:get_argument_value(95)
local FORMATTED_PRESSURE_ALT = string.format("%.4f", (2.899 * Altimeter_Pressure_Readout) + 28.097)
ExportScript.Tools.SendData(export_ids.FORMATTED_PRESSURE, string.format("%.2f", FORMATTED_PRESSURE_ALT))
end

Added photo of streamdeck setup, -10 -1 [29.92] +1 +10

is anyone having any issues with their ExportScripts after patch 2.9.6? My script for the Apache which was setting indicator statuses in my Stream Deck for the Apache stopped working and I am trying to troubleshoot where the issue lies.

EDIT: turns out the Apache got a new list_indication() somewhere up high in the list, which pushed all the others down one, breaking the CountermeasureReadouts() func as well as my own custom stuff. I had to increment the list_indication(24) to list_indication(25) in the aforementioned function, then stuff started to work again.
