HUD is so small

The HUD is ridiculously small in the A-10C.  Aside from moving your POV up and down, any other ways to get better FOV on the HUD?  The CCRP for GPS bombs/Maverick range on the left side is nigh-unreadable, and the gunsight for the GAU consistently goes above the top frame.

What fov (aka zoom level) are you in? (ctrl+scroll 2x shows the value)

Edit: I mean, find a combination of head-position and zoom-level that works best for you. In my opinion an unrealistic fov adds to the problem.
