cdrkrotchetyusn Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 just tried several times, spawning on CVN (SC) deck, using either keyboard NWS or mapped HOTAS button. When attempting to switch to NWS High to begin taxiing to the catapult, "NWS" on the HUD disappears, and ceases steering on deck. No amount of hitting the controls for this function seems to return it to working, and neither does spreading/folding the wings... Track file included. NWS-Disappears - Copy.trk
Hulkbust44 Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 Are you sure you are hitting the NWS/undesignate button and NOT the NWS disengage paddle switch?Mobius708
Tholozor Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 Attached track fails to load and crashes my client. I concur with @Hulkbust44, make sure it's not the paddle switch. rob10 Posted September 30, 2021 Posted September 30, 2021 Your track is giving me a CTD. Any chance you have a binding wrong somewhere? Seems like you're either disengaging NWS or maybe putting your Launch bar down (which will disconnect NWS).
cdrkrotchetyusn Posted September 30, 2021 Author Posted September 30, 2021 gonna try now, thanks, gents! 1
cdrkrotchetyusn Posted October 3, 2021 Author Posted October 3, 2021 Okay, thanks! I think I just needed an outside perspective, and I'm all squared away now. At least as far as my DCS Hornet NWS is concerned! Regards, Curveball #302 VFA-113 STINGERS IHulkbust, it was your paddle switch suggestion that set me straight!
