I've finally finished (for now) a complete overhaul of my startup checklists. These are intended for realistic but quick startup, that skips steps which are unnecessary in DCS.

I've got checklists for the A-10C, A/V-8B, F-14, F-16, F/A-18, JF-17, L-39, Mirage 2000, and Mi-24P. You can download them all here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3314229/

Looks nice, will try! Question: Isn't the FCS Bit test necessary anymore for the 18? Can't see it in the list.

It was never necessary to begin with in regards to DCS. Not running it won't negatively impact aircraft performance. Running it in real life could reveal failed subsystems or other undetected failures, which currently DCS doesn't really simulate to that level. Sure the mission designer can set a random failure for the LEF or Aileron, but doing that before you've even taken off would be kind of an annoying mission design.

FCS BIT it's done usually in ice conditions/very low temperatures.

About carrier ops: "The younger pilots are still quite capable of holding their heads forward against the forces. The older ones have been doing this too long and know better; sore necks make for poor sleep.'
