hannibal Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 (edited) I had some trouble sharing my stl files for 3d printing. i ended up using a leo bodnar bu0386a controller board and 7" lcd CLAA070MA0ACW ***UPDATE*** one of the TEDAC MFD files are borked, uploading to thingiverse keeps messing the file up, even after uploading. so download the file here on DCS forums on this thread. amazon 7x7mm buttons https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M2C5WTX?psc FILES ARE HERE: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5053148 and the middle MFD insert STL here: https://forum.dcs.world/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=308903&key=bba32ccd6071d72c918bcf167a5d27bb enjoy.. i used too much PLA+ to make it lol.. and good luck wiring this thing... it was tough. Are you really using latching buttons? Aren't these supposed to be momentary ones? Edited November 8, 2021 by agrasyuk Anton. My pit build thread . Simple and cheap UFC project

Looney Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 Hi, I've got this printed and looking to assemble, can you show some pictures on hat's going where? I struggle a bit. hannibal Posted January 10, 2022 Author Posted January 10, 2022 I try to find a photo somewhere when I have a moment. At end of the day you have to figure out how to wire it and how you will get it to work electronically. My suggestion for electronics is either a bodnar bu0386 or arduino with mmjoy2 firmware find me on steam! username: Hannibal_A101A http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197969447179
Looney Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 Thanks, anything is helpful. I've ordered the screen, i did have an 8" one but that doesn't fit (duh). I'll work with an Arduino Pro Mini or Nano for the buttons. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Commodore 64 | MOS6510 | VIC-II | SID6581 | DD 1541 | KCS Power Cartridge | 64Kb | 32Kb external | Arcade Turbo

GOOD luck it was not easy to put together. u have to be creative on how to wire everything electronics link if it helps arduino & mmjoy2 https://github.com/MMjoy/mmjoy_en/wiki/Controllers-(compatible-base-boards) find me on steam! username: Hannibal_A101A http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197969447179
FreeAndroid Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Would you be willing to share the file for the trigger and the left grip? Could model the trigger myself, but my CAD skills arent as good as my skill with electronics. I guess for the left grip you could mirror the right one, but if i would want to have the hats there instead of the buttons, its quite the mess to make such a change from an imported mesh in fusion Again, amazing work! 1 Ignoring all the unfinished projects INTENSIFIES
Jself Posted February 24, 2022 Posted February 24, 2022 I found your files and am working on a build. I redesigned it slightly to use a min stick and 4 way+push hats for the grips. I mirrored the parts in tinkercad for the left grip and adjusted the controls to match the real one. I have a 2 stage trigger designed. I'm currently working on sanding and filling the right grip while the center parts are printing. I plan to use 3 Arudino micros with a 6x6 button matrix and 2 axis (3 for the center section). Thanks for sharing the files!!! Part 1 of my build https://youtu.be/dxNo1tBHWPc 1

Would really love if they were added on your google space
Jself Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 I will post them once I finish the build, it is very much a WIP right now. I didn't document my Hornet build very well, so I'm trying to do a better job this time around.

Katalan Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 @hannibalafter print right grip i only can say you done an awesome job. Just need a little bit of sand paper and wire a lot of things. Various questions: Did you think in any brand/model of three position switches? there is a holes to attach it but seems for a specific model. The same with 4 way switches. Or dou you just draw the holes and it's our part to solve how put a switch there? It could be comprensible. At last, like other memeber asked before, there is the possibility to get the LHG stl? or do you planed just to mirror RHG?

X_legio Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Hi, that is an awesome piece of work. I am also printing the grips, any chance to have the link for the trigger ? Ty so much
Stonkernz Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 For those that have developed/created these grips, what size buttons and switches have you utilized? 6x6mm? Thanks in advance

Hello Hannibal. I wanted to ask you, if you could please put a list of all the controls and electronic components used in this project, especially the three position switches (On-OF-On) that you have used. First of all thank you very much for sharing your project. Hola Hannibal. Quería pedirte si por favor puedes poner una lista de todos los mandos y componentes electrónicos usados en este proyecto, especialmente los interruptores de tres posiciones (On-OF-On) que has usado. Ante todo muchas gracias por compartir tu proyecto.
