Except that Baltic Dragon initially said that he didn't think he'd get it out in time for the early access release, so clearly it... isn't.

That was before the pod change and the subsequent delay.

i think that the Early release is here...BD finished the manual....there are 2  months from poreorder...now (and not 2 weeks) is the time...

I thought his post said the manual was still being worked on?

Except the people doing the art/modelling aren't the same people who do the code 🙂

This. Just because the texture artists are all finished doesn't mean that everything else is ready.

Best to not get too excited. That way it's not some massive downer when it doesn't release for another 2 months 🙂

Overinflated expectations based on delusion isn't positivity.

It'll be out when it's out. It's been ten years, a bit more is nothing.

So, is the manual available for download? Or is this just another stupid tease?

It's a WIP Update  Just as The title of this sub-forum states

Could the WIP manual post by BD also include the future updates? Just throwing some more kindling on the fire.

Well, when the pre-release finally arrived RB said it was looking like two months or possibly less of testing until full release.

So I'm pretty sure our two-week timeline is F'ed! 😞 🙂

We must rework the "release algorithm" and recalculate IMEDDITALY!!!!

They said that? I only remember them saying it'll release a 'few' months after the pre-order started.

I'm struggling to ever recall a case of currently unimplemented features being in the manuals for any module. It wouldn't make any sense to do so and it'd be somewhat tricky to do anyway as how do you get screenshots etc for something that doesn't currently exist?  The manuals just usually get fleshed out as new stuff is added and released (sometimes a bit after with video 'how to' guides at time of update release to bridge the gap).

Sorry, that's what I meant. Not that the manual would have unreleased stuff, but placeholders for when new stuff is added to the manual when it's released for the module.  My bad for the poor wording.

Ah OK. Yes, that's possible. Can't remember if it has happened in official manuals but certainly I recall occasional placeholders in Chucks Guides.
