Yes, basic ATC is ...very basic. It is in plans for years to make it better and more sophisticated, currently WIP afaik. Check the Supercarrier comms - those are mostly fine and real.

ED has working on improve the tower / ATC comunications (NATO, Russia, WW2), bassed on SC actual work. Waiting news about them.

ATC is something we will improve in the future but I have no news to share currently.
