Is the burble effect still working?

I don't know if I just got used to it or what, but I remember the burble effect being much more noticeable when it was introduced earlier this year. 
Is it still there or has it been silently removed?

I was honestly wondering the same exact thing because I haven't felt it recently. Maybe we just got used to it?

It is indeed there. We've tuned it to a large extent, so perhaps it feels less severe now.

Does the natural vs. apparent wind interact with the severity of the bubble or is it a binary thing at the moment?

It very much still is a thing. Simply look at the VSI when in the groove and on the ball, you'll get an updraft followed by a downdraft and some shake closer to the boat.

Pity. It was a fun challenge and a nice change from the monotony of regular landings.
