ED Team Groove Posted December 5, 2008 ED Team Posted December 5, 2008 Running Vista 64 bit Ultimate without any issues. What kind of problems did you have? Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
hitman Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Vista SP1 wouldnt install because of my raid array. Oh yeah, I troubleshot that thing for days.
Prophet Posted December 6, 2008 Author Posted December 6, 2008 Stock settings, idle and loaded. The TIM isnt cured yet either. Groove, overclocking wont make it any louder. This baby is going to get some juice :D
Prophet Posted December 6, 2008 Author Posted December 6, 2008 I usually dont care for benchmarks. I tend to look at how it performs how I use it, in games. I can tell you right now I have been able to really up the settings in ArmA. I havent got to BS yet.

Im almost scared to put these on the motherboard I have coming in tomorrow. Gonna have to find a way to brace these things...Ill get some pics put up this evening of these things. And yes, it will run Crysis Warhead at full res, maxed graphics. Got a LOT of plumbing to do inside this case if I want to run these in sli. Turns out my pump is in the direct way of the bottom card. hitman Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Motherboard was DOA. Thought I had finished this with asus! Now I have to wait till I get this thing RMA,d.
rapid Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Shame on Asus, cant you just send it back to the company you brought it from and ask for a replacement surly you shouldn't have to RMA it as you have not had it that long? funcionando Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Core i7 is highly a multi-core CPU, DCS is only single core (dual core with the hack) you'll be getting about the same performance as an E8500. I hope you didn't buy it just for DCS Hi, so could you tell me what hack is that of dual core in dcs. Thanks in advance
JG27_Arklight Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Hi, so could you tell me what hack is that of dual core in dcs. Thanks in advance 1. Alt-tab out of Black Shark. 2. Open Task Manager. 3. Right-click DCS.exe in "Processes". 4. Select "Affinity". 5. Select all the cores (check the boxes) and press "Ok" or "Apply". 6. Close Task Manager. 7. Slayer Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Just a stupid question , whats the diff between a standard 260 and one that is core 216?? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] System Specs Intel I7-3930K, Asrock EXTREME9, EVGA TITAN, Mushkin Chronos SSD, 16GB G.SKILL Ripjaws Z series 2133, TM Warthog and MFD's, Saitek Proflight Combat pedals, TrackIR 5 + TrackClip PRO, Windows 7 x64, 3-Asus VS2248H-P monitors, Thermaltake Level 10 GT, Obutto cockpit
hitman Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Standard 260 has 190 some odd cores...the 216 has 216 cores...or something like that. Its basically a GTX270.
qrazi Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 192 cores to be precise... :) MSI 870A-G54, AMD Phenom II X2 555 @Phenom II X4 B55 BE, 3.2 GHz quad-core, Asus EAH4870 DK/HTDI/512MD5, OCZ Gold Edition DDR3 1333MHz 4GB Kit Low-Voltage. Budget = Cheap = Good :D
JG27_Arklight Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Actually, it is 216 stream processors vs 192 stream processors. Performance wise, there is not a lot of difference between the 192 and the 216.
