missing info F16C GBU-Laser Guided Bomb Release

Hey all.

 

So i lock on to the ground target, but i choke on weapons release. Bomb doesn't drop.

This is what i know.. 10 seconds before target, i hold weapon release then laser then i lift weapon release. I think that's wrong. Also, do i need to uncage? because when i try to uncage i can a dark MFD with one big crosshair.

Please help.

Did you check master arm? Also you dont need to lase until 15 sec to impact. You need to press and hold the wpn release until the ccrp bomb cue „falls“ through your FPM in the hud. It should drop the bomb as soon as the cue reaches the FPM and the pickle button is held.

Sorry i forgot to mention that part. Yes, both Master and Laser Arm both on.

My bet is that your are not holding weapon release all the way through the entire 7 seconds or so. Let us know

10 seconds till release, hold pickle button. NOT laser trigger. Then 10 seconds till impact, start lasing. Check your laser codes are right on the DED and kneeboard.

When You uncage TGP, You're turning laser search mode.

Pro gamer tip.... Roll in CCRP, step to CCIP for a diving release (bomb has more energy), and have your wingman lase your bomb in as you escape.
