Collision Antenna Train Angle (CATA) symbol. It shows how to collision intercept a target as long as that intercept angle is +-60 degrees from target bearing (or you'd make target leave radar abilities).

Hi Frederf,

How does one utilize this in the Viper, I'm familiar with CATA and intercepts so my question is more "put the thing on the thing and voila".

Basically, what do I need to do with the cross to run the intercept if that makes more sense?

Thanks!

Just put it in the center of the MFD. There might be some advanced techniques not having it centered. I have noticed in DCS that I got wrong steering when target was going away so maybe it's not working perfectly.

Works well. Reference the real world MCH or 3-3's for the actual technique. But basically, put the cross in the centre of the FCR MFD until 10miles, then go pure pursuit (lots more to it)
