A bit late to the party, but as far as I can tell the Mig-19S is more of a wishlist idea than something that's actually holding the module back.

A few bits may need some tweaks (for example, the FM has improved but it's still fairly forgiving, which may or may not be accurate), but for the most part it's a fairly complete module.

The only thing holding me back from purchasing is a lack of official liveries for Syria, Iraq or Egypt (and yes I know there's plenty on user files).

Also waiting for the S.  Really hope the team can come back to this one rather than starting other projects.  Waiting years has me falling in and out, in and out of interest for this could-be-super-awesome plane.

It reciprocates between "It's something we'd like to do" and "something we will do."

Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!

I think they wanted to do the Mig-19S to call this module complete.

I really hope so beacuse i'm waiting for the "cool Farmer" with the third cannon

I'll take two cannons and the radar.

S variant without radar had lighter nose and it was slightly more maneuverable.

Both had a bit different use, P was all weather interceptor mostly for PVO, S was dogfighter for tactical/frontline aviation.
