stoop Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 When I am in the CPG seat and use 5 short up clicks to get the Pilot to come up to 50 feet, he does that ... then he sinks to the ground, then he goes up again, then comes down, up, down, up down ... I shot a video of it. Can anyone tell me if there is something I need to do in the Pilot seat itself before switching to CPG seat to make this work? My Bouncing Apache!
IzeHouze Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 George needs more coffee in the morning... I had him on course at 70kts and 400 feet. Send the commands in quick succession to stop and rotate 180. I thought I was going to be walking back to base as he dropped, fairly quickly to under 50 feet before recovering.
Hotdognz Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 He needs to go back to flight school, he is very inconstant with height once its set, even at 500 I have had him come down to 100 or lower on a turn.

TeaSki Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 I noticed this issue on the Scud Buster mission. Lowing fuel weight helps. 1
stoop Posted March 26, 2022 Author Posted March 26, 2022 I only have 40% fuel in the Apache, and no weapons other than the gun.

ED Team Solution NineLine Posted March 26, 2022 ED Team Solution Posted March 26, 2022 From what I can see, there is something odd going on, I wonder, do you have the option selected in game to sync your controls with your HOTAS on mission start (under MISC in settings)? If you do, unselect and try again. When I save the track as a mission, then reopen it, all works fine. Start there and see if we can figure it out. stoop Posted March 26, 2022 Author Posted March 26, 2022 Yes it was selected, I unselected it and it works just fine now !!!!! Oh one more thing, I did have to make sure my throttle was up in the front seat, looks like the guy in the back doesn't override that, I did have to move the lever I use all the way up for that.
ED Team NineLine Posted March 26, 2022 ED Team Posted March 26, 2022 Yup, Hot starts cant be tricky if you have controls out of sync, soon as you move them, the sync up. So you have to be mindful of that for sure. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
ivan_st Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 I also saw this(similar) issue couple of times when trying to hover after I switch seat to CP-G. I order pilot to reduce speed and go up but he just slowly starts losing altitude(no matter what I set), so I have to swap back to pilots seat not to crash. Note that George confirms the command and the numbers update on that "menu" that is displayed. Sync your controls with your HOTAS on mission start option is unchecked. I will save the track and add it if I see it again
