not a bug Mission 06 AAR TACAN not working as intended

Hi, in this mission, when you are told to set the tacan 10X (if my memory doen't fails) for SHELL as A/R REC, nothing is shown on HSI, you only get info if you set it as a ground tacan (T/R / REC) modes.

Yeah, if I'm not mistaken that was changed in DCS just recently. And I think something like this also took place several years ago until it was changed back. Not sure if this is a new bug in DCS or intended behavior, though.

@NineLine @BIGNEWY do you know if TACAN for tankers in Air-to-Ground mode (instead of A/A TACAN, like it was recently) is intentional, and if this is going to stay?

Yes from what we have been told this is intentional.

@BIGNEWY I can PM you a checklist excerpt showing we use air-to-air tacan for refueling or a pic of our HSI showing the indications we get (i.e. distance but no bearing) with a/a t/r if you'd like.

In any case I don’t think this issue is campaign - related..
