i'm SHOOKETH. i've never seen such graphics and animations from within the sim like this, not even on the most expensive campaigns. i didn't even know that was possible.

way to raise the bar super high! now time to actually play the mission...

UPDATE: ouch i crashed and died when trying to get the car crash victim back to the hospital. he must have weighted more than a whale, i couldn't hover for sh*t

The mission brief screen (top right) blocks my comms menu (top right). How do I move the mission screen away?

First of - I really love this mission (package)!

Unfortunately ED saw fit to tweak the Syria map again and now the Helipad is gone. That, in and of itself, wouldn‘t be a problem if the tailrotor wouldn‘t now be stuck in a fence. Thus making it impossible to lift off without immediately crashing. Could you look into this ? Pretty please …

The Syria map has been developed by Ugra Media, not ED. And there is nothing "unfortunate" about them still improving the map years after its release. 😉

But good job with pointing it out. Campaigns and missions have to be constantly updated from time to time. Such is the reality of DCS. I hope this mission gets an update as it's really fun to fly.

EDIT:

I just checked and you can open the mission in Mission Editor and simply move the starting location to one of the nearby thee helipads. It fixes this issue, although hard to say now if other map changes affect some missions (tasks) as well.

I'm all for improving, just sucks to be on the receiving end if that improvement breaks something.

Aside from that, I went into the ME and moved the Helo to one of the three helipads. Worked like a charm.

Played a couple of missions and so far all the triggers seemed to work and no major issues. Only thing was that on the rescue of a wounded sailor from the cargo vessel, the designated landing space near the bridge (with the markers) didn't fire the trigger. However I took off and moved to the usual landing spot (marked with an H) in the middle of the three holds and it worked.

The new version should be ready in a couple of days!

Would it be possible to add the OH6A as an option to the Huey? I know, that's a lot to ask, but would be awesome. 🤗 
But either way, it is still one of the best user made contents out there!

It would be better and easier to release a different version, so people who don't know anything about the amazing work that @Eight Ball is doing with the OH6A won't have any problems loading the file.

Version 4.0 has been released:

I LOVE THIS JOB (LAST VERSION)
HUEY SHERIFF SKIN


Problems related with the last Syria map update have been solved.  Plus added 6 new SAR roof rescue areas and new 2 new accidents locations.
The cars paths in the chase missions have been modified according to the new map. Remove the annoying VHF radio static sound...etc.
And solved a a bug that triggered the chain reaction in the power lines mission after you turn off the first generator.

Go in mission editor yourself. Open the mission and change aircraft. Save as and then you go. I tried it several months ago ago. It works on most missions. But the one saving 5 firemen do not because the chopper get too heavy

I like you to know your work is appreciated 

Huey is and always will be the coolest of the lot. Might not be the best for the job in servers for all things anymore. But it is definitely the coolest workhorse

As I said it did not work out well. The controll of OH-6A gets scetchy for some reason, the triggers where fired randomly. That's why I asked instead of simply changing to OH-6A mod in ME.

Odd. A couple of versions ago I did this with no problems. Something might have changed that.

I tried with 4.1 and something is going on, that make the pedals move on its own 😞

Now it's getting weird. Something here breaks the mod. I uninstalled the OH-6A reinstalled. Everything fine. Then I load ist in the mission and the rudder pedal gets a live of its own.
