Apache600 Posted July 22, 2022 Posted July 22, 2022 As the title says. After landing, I shut down the engine, then switched off the battery (not switching any other systems off). The RWR was still chirping at me. Only silenced after I then switched off the RWR as well. Flappie Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 Thanks for the heads up, @Apache600. Issue reported. On holiday
Rongor Posted July 24, 2022 Posted July 24, 2022 (edited) any idea how to get it on with battery on? Switched up the RWR switch, yet the tone test is not showing any life. Edited July 24, 2022 by Rongor
Apache600 Posted July 24, 2022 Author Posted July 24, 2022 @Rongor, I've never had a problem with it firing up after startup. But I leave it off before engine start. Don't want to drain the battery. Wonder if you need AC power for it to function ... which would be after engine start. Rongor Posted July 24, 2022 Posted July 24, 2022 @Apache600it seems to work but there is no way to prove this as the test function isn't working 1
