fixed Tweak weather (clouds) settings for training and default missions

It would be nice if someone could check and adjust weather (clouds) settings for UH-1H training lessons.

This is training landing solo practice (clouds on ground level, airfield with zero visibility):

Weapon practice training (strange flat clouds):

Also some of the Caucasus instant action missions have weird cloud settings:

Free flight (again clouds on ground level):

Target practice (like above):

Oil rig landing:

This is a minor issue, yet these missions acts as a showcase for the module and it's a pity that currently they look like that considering how visually stunning DCS can be with the new clouds system.

• Landing solo practice was fixed.
• So was weapon practice training.

Free Flight, Target Practice and Oil Rig Landing  are not fixed. Issues reported, thanks.

I was about to brush of some rust in the Huey the other day and launched the instant action mission Weapon range on Caucasus (Not sure about the name right now).

The mission starts in thick fog. So thick that you can not see more than a few meters in front of you, making the mission irrelevant. You can not see any target, not even the range.

@Flappie It itsnt just with the Huey. Alot of instant missions from ED modules have this issue.

If you identify some, please PM me or create a new thread in the appropriate section. I see some F-86 Syria and MiG-15 PG instant action missions are reported already.

You're right, I meant that the "Weapons employment" training mission had been fixed.

The "Target practice" instant action mission has not been fixed yet.

The report was bumped a few days ago.

Sorry to but in. Do you know how to get water droplets to appear when going through a cloud? But without rain turned on? I saw it on a youtube video ages ago but now cant find it to reference.

Hi Flappie, i know, im not sure either. I was watching a youtube video ages ago about the f15E startup tutorials and the guy took off did a right turn through a cloud and water droplets appears on the canopy and ran backwards. I cant for the life of me find this video to even add it to here

Was it mentioned in the changelog, please? Every update I hope there will be something even little for the Huey and I am almost always disappointed.
