I'm rather hoping that we don't see one.

Whilst I understand why you're asking that, forecasting delivery timescales for software is nothing like as precise as you might think.

The implications being very simple, if it slips, it just generates HUGE levels of noise from those who feel entitled to complain about a "forecasted date".

It's a LOT safer to under-promise and over-deliver, than the other way around.

I'm happy to not even think about, until the update drops and we get some new toys to play with.  Feels more like Xmas every 4 weeks, rather than ongoing teeth-gnashing.

I actually work in software development so I understand how dev projects are managed. I can't tell you how ED manages theirs, but I'm sure they know what features they are working on or plan on working on.

I'm not looking for a specific date of a release. But I really don't think that its asking too much to get an order of of features to be released and a general timeframe.

This is a product that people paid for so think there is some level of expectations, if it was an opensource volunteer project then I might take your approach.

Only once an item is in testing and close to release will we talk about dates, generally in the form of a mini-update and/or video. Thanks!

how about changing seats in MP?  "in testing" = "maybe" next update?
