I know there is the clickable cockpit mod for FC3 but imho it is not the same as full fidelity.

I would instabuy a Frogfoot or a Fulcrum, or a Flanker.

Are there Rumors to get some spicey red Jets in the near Future? If not: why?

This has been requested and discussed to death here on the forum. You'll find multiple threads about it through the search function.

Main problem probably still being confidentiality (lack of publicly available documentation).

There were rumors about Mig-29A (9.12), don't know if it still planned.

Any plans about Russian jets can be ruined by Russian government, see the last sentence https://forum.dcs.world/topic/78139-rakety-v-dcs/?do=findComment&comment=5037850. Chizh is no joking, I can tell you as Russian citizen.

P.S. Personally, I hope that something will change after 2024 year, but it is mere hope. And I don't consider positive changes very probable.

Doesn't appear we'll get "semi-modern" Russian jets.

MiG23 is being worked on and Su-22 so they will be a bit more modern than the MiG21, but still no late 70s or early 80s stuff.

Russian full fidelity aircrafts will not be possible due to law, but Soviet ones are coming; MiG-23MLA, Su-17M, already present Mi-24P, MiG-21bis, MiG-19S, Mi-8 etc.

Now there is discussion if 1983 MiG-29 9.12 will be possible in the future or not. Developer suggests it may be not possible.

It’s 100% possible to do a Mig-29 just not for ED right now. They also mentioned it’s fine for third parties to do whatever they want, modern or old if they are able.

I guess we will see in a next few years. It would be a shame if ED wouldn't be able to make MiG 9.12 after all, they've collected lots of data and they are in contact with many real life MiG-29 pilots.

Yes it would a shame if they can’t given their staff. But it remains an option if they cannot
