”The next update will feature substantial enhancements to DCS weather in particular a new state-of-the art fog and dust rendering system. This highly immersive solution, which took more than 8’500 man hours to develop, allows both automatic and manual fog generation and accounts for sensor and AI line-of-sight blocking.”

Thanks, i was aware of that, as I took that statement like “this enhancement… *allows* …” which does not necessarily mean that is implemented already on introduction. I know i’m being pendantic here, but this could mean the new technology is considering this in the way it has been designed, but could come later .

We’ve seen other cases of new technologies introduced by ED like the radar refactoring that announced everything it will eventually consider in the future, however when introduced it turned out phase 1 did not had all the features yet

Guess it can be “read” both ways and, knowing ED, your interpretation will prove correct. Still prefer mine, though.
