I feel bad about reporting/nagging about anomalies I experience in this forum, because it gives a misrepresentation about how I really feel about DCS;
I love it. It has become the subject of my hyper fixation. The work that has been done, and the attention to (some of the) details is unbelieavable.
I spend way to much time figuring out how to "fix" subjects of my frustration, but the joy of getting there is very rewarding.
My recent challenge are the pixellated clouds, but I made some great progress last night, and I can't wait to get home from work to check it out.
Because the framerate (degradet at first) improved after 2.8 using Oculus Quest2. 
I hope to be contributing to improvements, and that me nagging be seen as a sign that I'm sometimes worried about my favourite product.

Ya know, I’m so tired of that condescending  response! I’m betting 90% of the people fly OB, at least 90%of the servers with any participation require OB, and many, if not most of the “common “ or repetitive complaints make it through to the apparently in your eyes anyway, much better final release version. Who are you kidding?  

Yes, it’s called Open beta version , we get it. But if that’s what’s being pushed if anyone wants to actually participate with other humans, maybe they should either limit distribution (omg, I said it) so its not the prevalent version for MP or perhaps hold it in development until it actually works?  Of course a third option would be add a “not suitable for VR or low end systems “ disclosure before purchase (oh and perhaps a refund every time they “improve performance to the point another block of customers can’t use it) and a fairly significant piece of complaints would disappear because the VR crowd would go play something else….

Open beta is and always will be a public test build. 

The community chose to use it for Multiplayer and we understand why, everyone likes to see the new stuff quickly. 

But open beta is where we do our wider testing in the community, that is it's purpose.

Fair enough. And likewise, I'm getting tired of people using an acknowledged open beta product but insisting that it must perform like a finished product.

And regarding the server situation, take it up with the admins.

The point here is if you want to make a good bug report we need to see tracks, and dcs logs so we can actually use the feedback for good. 

Sharing a hoggit posts saying DCS is unplayable is not helpful, and also not true, because many are playing, we can see it in our data. 

If you do have a report for us to look at please make a new thread
