ZombiZarre Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 Hi, In any map, in any start mode (cold, hot, in the air) if you mix CBU-103 and CBU-105 (either single bombs or 2x with BRU-57) then you can't configure the bombs in the SMS page. Meaning that you can't select the double triangle to launch you two bombs in cascade and you can't select the burst altitude.
Moonshine Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 should be correct as you cant drop 2 clusterbombs from the same rack parallel 1
ZombiZarre Posted November 17, 2022 Author Posted November 17, 2022 Okay for the two-bomb drop but what about the burst-altitude selection ?

Works just fine. _SteelFalcon_ Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Yep, only the SPIN option for the CBU105 doesnt do anything. for the CBU103 it actually changes, not so for the 105. BA can be changed on all CBUs
Tholozor Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 True, the -105 doesn't need SPIN for the BLU-108s. 1 REAPER 51 | Tholozor VFA-136 (c.2007): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3305981/ Arleigh Burke Destroyer Pack (2020): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313752/
Frederf Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 CBU-105 (based on SUU-66) uses inflatable gas bags to deploy the BLU-108s and never spins. CBUs -103 (-104, -107 too?) based on SUU-65 (and SUU-64) use spin in the terminal phase to deploy their submunitions.
