Login into www.digitalcombatsimulator.com, and if you purchased BS2 before, you should see a price tag of $9.99 instead of full price for BS3.

Steam will probably cause problems at first (as always).

I bought Black Shark 2 from Steam and later i migrated to stand alone, and i see the full price...

Steam will probably cause problems at first (as always).

standalone....it is only showing full game price. tried module manager but as yet no joy?

On the title page for DCS, make sure you are logged in. One of the “feature” boxes is labled ”DCS: Black Shark 3”. Clicking on Details should take you to the page that has a “Buy” button. Being logged in will give the correct upgrade price in the cart. Worked for me this morning as I did not see it listed under Modules for sale in Helicopters.

My guess is there some sort of error going on recognizing previous purchases and not offering the proper upgrade price. I have bought BS1 and BS2 standalone, and I do not see the upgrade price. Only the full $69.99 version.

Logged and if i search for BS2 module eShop tells me i have a license, so its not that

You shouldn't have to search for anything. Next to the News column should be a feature labelled "Black Shark 3". This is all on the Home Page for "https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/" .

Going to "Details" took me to the Buy option. Searching for the module did not work for me either.

I did this and searched for it. Its still 70$...

I am logged in and i even logged out and back in a couple times to make sure. 

i was not gifted it. i bought it on steam and then switched to the standalone.

I bought BS2 on Steam and switched to standalone Version too. I'm logged in and there's still the full price. 

@NineLineis it possible to buy the BS3 upgrade on Steam and switch the license to standalone too?

Same here. Bought BS1 on steam then switched. Upgraded to BS2 in 2012 and I'm not given the option for BS3 upgrade, just the full price. I'm also logged in and have never been gifted.
