cannot get Apache to lase from front seat

cannot get Apache to lase from front seat. I have read the manual, followed directions in Youtube videos. U can fly it, shoot from both seats, kill targets from back seat. Cannot get laser to fire at all from front seat. Any ideas? Thanx

Go to WPN -> UTIL and verify the LASER is armed (solid circle).

Post a short track file here, so we can see what you are doing (or not doing)

I know I need to give a track, but I finally see lase on the hud, but the weapons have never followed and locked on the lase. I use VR, so maybe this is my issue. But, I don't hear anyone else with VR saying they have a problem.

I want to give a track, but i am trying to make sure I don't miss something and look like a complete idiot... also, thread should say Laser works but cannot lock target with laser on locked target, and the weapons lock on the laser.

OK, just by going on this, I suspect you have different codes for laser and missile seeker.

Make sure these two are the same.

I uninstalled, rebooted, re-installed the AH-64 Apache, and now at least I can manually put the laser on a target and hit it, still haven't got a lock, I move too much (cannot stay still enough to stay on target) so for me it must be locked.

I guess I have to put Solved as far as getting the laser on a target and hitting it. Solved, uninstall, reinstall, following everyone's help in this thread, and others. Still need to learn a few things. Uninstalling and re-installing wasn't a big deal and I had saved copies of my settings and it saved most of my settings. I still had to change a few settings, but no big deal. Thanx all. Got up very early 3 a.m. and am going back to rest.

Linear Motion Compensator (LMC) will help you keep the crosshairs on the target. Also now with the Image Auto Tracker (IAT) keeping a good track on the target is a lot easier. Keep at it. The Apache is a lot of fun once you get the hang of it.
