I also like this mod but I have also noted that the lights are not working, I think the lights are only self illuminated material, it does not seem to have fake omni lights required to make them be able to be seen from a distance.

In light of recent events, I would like to make a livery request for the Embraer 135/Legacy 600.  Specifically, it would be this airframe bearing the registration RA-02795, MSN (manufacturer's serial number) 14501008.  I don't know if it's too soon or something, but I hope to see this livery included at some point.

I use EDM EXPORTER for Blender by Tobi about this project.
Blender modding has less document than 3ds Max , or DCS environment becomes something outdated from the time of sample models / scripts / instruction movies were published.
I've tried, but never succeeded those lights working properly.

Someone shows me Blender Exporting techniques of lights available on current DCS.

With these great helps of Fisherman82 , I got those exterior lights on my models in DCS.

I've sent a private message to him, same trouble report here again.
Position lights and Logo lights don't animation in DCS.
My exported edm files don't contain the argument number 69 to turn-on/off those lights.
Those lights are always On in DCS.

"Disable in Renders" action is not exported in my environment ; Blender 3.3.11 + Tobi's EDM Exporter 1.0.12 .
Something mistaken by me in setup / operation Blender or Exporter .... but I have no idea.
Old versions' set --- Blender 2.93 + Exporter 1.0.8 --- was the same.

I have to solve this problem before publish a new version.

Cabin interior lights in the screenshots are a fake gimmick.
Under airport light towers or sunset glow, a bit strange feeling will come ; but I cannot do anymore about it. They'll keep as is to the publishing time.

@tobi do you have any idea what could cause your Blender exporter to not export a argument for Disable in renders? I have been trying to help him but I cant think of why its not working.

I remember one thing I felt strange about my Blender working...

Besides animation and actions, object list panel's "Disable in Renders" button (Camera Icon) or "Renders" checkbox in Visibility panel are ignored.

When I set EDM panel's Render Type column as "RenderNode" , the part is always exported as rendering polygons, even Visibility Renders check is Off or Disable in Renders Camera Icon clicked.
I have to change EDM - RenderType column into "none" when I want not to export the part in .edm .

I missed some setup page in blender to enable / disable those Renders control UI ?

Thats wierd. You are going to need to select RenderNode to make the lights visible so using that to toggle wont work. And your saying that even if you open the file I sent you and export then you dont get a EDM with arguments like the one I sent?

Yes.
My blender + EDM exporter shows that behavior with your example .blend files.

Some little little setup item I missed or mistook, I don't know what I forgot to do or did not to do.

I've tested different versions of EDM Exporter on fixed version Blender 3.3.11 with Fisherman82's example .blend file as a new Windows User account and installing on new drive/folder (avoid setup contamination).

EDM Exporter 1.0.6 and 1.0.7 --- "Disable in Renders" action is exported to .edm

EDM Exporter 1.0.8 and 1.0.12 --- "Disable in Renders" action is NOT exported to .edm (always rendered)

Those results look like EDM Exporter's trouble in version 1.0.8 and laters.
I'll move those reports to Tobi's exporter developing topic. Thank you.

Tobi told me that EDM exporter 1.0.8 added a new function Visibility tracks and the actions around visibility need that record.

My TTTwJ vol.1 DC-9 and MD-83 mod is upgraded to ver. 0.0.5 , today.

Added LOD 1 and 4 (2 - 3 are still missing), collision models, night lighting.

All DC-9 or MD-83 skinpacks (C-9A and C-9B etc.) are also updated as rev2 for new night lighting function.

dc9_30_body_NiIllum.dds and md80_body_NiIllum.dds are the default night cabin windows' illumination texture.
When some windows are closed or shades down, cut some parts from the texture and save in another named dds file.
In liveries description.lua , add such one line ---

Quote

    {"dc9_30_body_NiIllum", 0, "YourNewFilename", false},

Quote

    {"md80_body_NiIllum", 0, "YourNewFilename", false},

The texture any of windows' illumination erased is ready in my texture zip.
To use it for cargo freighter config, write this line ---
