JZF Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 Good morning, everyone, Regardless of whether I start the F18 in the air, on the ground or on the aircraft carrier, I get the impression that it lacks the power to accelerate even with the throttle on full. It seems that the plane is overweight...how to solve this problem? Thank you
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted February 24, 2023 ED Team Posted February 24, 2023 Hi, please include a track replay showing the issue you are having. you can save a track replay after you exit the mission during the debrief window. Please make it a short session just to show the issue you are having and it will keep the file size down. thank you Forum rules - DCS Crashing? JZF Posted February 24, 2023 Author Posted February 24, 2023 Please, see attached the track, Thank you Carrier Takeoff.trk
JZF Posted February 24, 2023 Author Posted February 24, 2023 As you can see in the track, the throttle was at maximum, the plane fell into the water due to lack of speed because it was not possible to increase the speed any more Thank you
JZF Posted February 24, 2023 Author Posted February 24, 2023 Please, see this new track, as you can see the RPM is 98% but the speed keep dropping. Regarding axis assigment, do you refer the attached file? It seems is ok Thanks Carrier Takeoff1.trk
TheFreshPrince Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 Is there a slider if you click on the dropdown menu in the axis tune settings? If yes, that's where you put in the settings. Try to click invert and see if it changes anything. For my thrustlever I need to invert it.
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted February 24, 2023 ED Team Posted February 24, 2023 tested mine I am not seeing any issue. Things to check as mentioned above check your axis and curves check your brake axis also, are your brakes on? check your special options for afterburner detent Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
