Good afternoon to all

First of all thanks for all the help, if tried to search many topics but had no succes to find anything similar, thats why I bring the issue op.

Im setting up a mission with infantry on top of defences, and when they get shot they disperse. This infantry is set to inmortal due to the fact I want them to survive waves of enemies until air support comes.

I have atached 3 images with how everything is set up.

The ai is inside the tower and the are set as Inmortal, Red state (so they are prone), and dispersal off but it dont work at all. The only way to to stop ai from moving is to disable AI via a trigger but then they dont fire and they are not inmortal.

It happens in a lot of missions I have created its like AI inf ignore the Dispersal under fire off advance waypoint action.

I'm having new issues with infantry as well, but mine are that they refuse to fire, blue and red, despite being weapons free and within range. Your issue is odd as well because before I had this problem I never saw infantry disperse under fire.

What mod are you using for the barriers? Is it Ranger's?

So I just tested this with every combination of barrier and it does not seem to matter. Once Infantry Units come under fire, they Disperse regardless of Dispersal setting. I have tried Setting Dispersal to "Off", "On" and with length in seconds set to 0. I have also tried both of these with the unit assign the task "Hold". No luck in anycase, definitely seems broken.

Hi guys I did not know this post got some answers. The inmortal option dosent matter the ai disperses or dies even with dispersion of.

The only way to make the ai not to disperse is to disable the AI and then, they dont shoot, and cant be inmortal.

I think is a bug.

Setting "Disperse under fire" for Infinitary units does not work anymore.

Units still run away in random directions regardless of the setting when under fire.

nullIssue was notice also by other folks.

Have you tried setting the dispersal timeframe to 1 sec - they shouldn't get far in 1 sec then will go back to where they started from.

Thanks, I tried 0, but not 1. Either way it has no effect - they leave the hesco towers and run around. I’ve made them immortal for the purposes of prolonging the fight against a superior enemy force, but the mission flow won’t work with them running around outside the FOB.
