My first impression about F14B with MT: very good job with performance, now the Cat accelerates well even near mach 1.

I have found a very annoyng issue : the Cat rolls like crazy even on the deck at 300 IAS while pulling 15-20 AoA units, very difficult to control

Yes this is known a wing rock, a common oscillation mode in swept wing aircraft at high AOA.

I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but it was only the A that was mentioned in the changelog with regards to performance.

Was the B tuned as well?

B is coming in the next patch.

The oscillation is really big and i think 15-20 AoA unit is not that much for the F14 with SAS switched on flying at 300 ias, disabling SAS it's like flying an earthquake

Just go look at the manual my dude! You can read the forums here so you can read the manual. Be a little more curious, its a beneficial trait to have in life. I’m not at my computer otherwise I’d post the pages describing  the F-14 wing rock here.

@maxsin72:  While there is the NATOPS that describes it, here's an unclassified, unlimited distribution document that studies deeper into the subject of wing rock in the F-14:

Describes AOA, severity related to AOA, configurations and how those affect wing rock, etc.  Might be good to review.

the Dev's are very busy, the resources exist for a reason, you should always default to the approved data set first, if it isn't in there then ask the question.

i did, he said "go look at the manual," I reckon if you were nicer, people would be more willing to help, maybe its time to remove the chip you have on your shoulder.

...and just to be clear, HB wrote they would had open an official discussion yesterday. But they didn't, so it's normal that people are asking questions, so don't complain as usual.

Heh, Maxsin, I also wrote earlier today that we postponed the update to tomorrow due to the huge and predominant interest in the MT update, which is normal. We don't need to take first stage all the time, this is ED's moment, they did such an amazing job with it. Just enjoy it for a moment be patient a couple days and the indepth FM/Performance update and discussion thread will be up.

And seriously, you need to stop picking fights with everyone, they don't mean ill, they mean well. And I know, you will now say, they are picking fights with you, but, from an outside view: it is how you take it, not necessarily how they give it, and the way you keep coming back at everyone, just always invites even more dispute. This, too, btw, is not an attack on you or personal, it is well meant advice.

what i think iron mike is saying is that ED absolutely deserve to take the spotlight with this update, and HB is allowing them to do so.

the multithreading update is a massive step in the development of DCS world,

HB postponing stuff is giving ED the chance to take credit for what they have done.

this shows HB's support for ED and demonstrates cooperation between the 2 organisations.

I'm very happy about MT and i also wrote HB, you all, has done a very good job with performance, then i asked about F14 roll. So totally no fight from my side and, after Fat Creason answer, all was ok.

So please, and this is not the first time i ask you, say to frosty2124 to be costructive or to stay quiet, thank you, otherwise i'll answer, because he started to be polemic, as already happened too many times in the recent past, and if you let him to be polemic it could mean you agree with his behaving
