Shadows rendering only in half of the screen in MT

Not sure if these two are related, but some shadow problems with my Valve Index too. 

 

Check the shadow between infantry men. When I'm looking straight at it, it's blurry and missing parts.

Recorded short demonstration of that shadow bug in vr with Index. Also notice the water glitch at the end of the recording. Should I make a whole new thread of this VR shadow issue (+ water) or?

This its not a bug it works as expected, its just the consequences of the aggressive LOD that ED uses for shadows on VR

Sorry, I promised I would test this in order to report it, but I got busy with other stuff.

I've just plugged in my wife's monitor to my PC which makes me a potential multi-monitor DCS user. Woohoo! Hoepfully, I'll get it to work in no time thanks to @Saruman's guide. Ill let you know what I find.

Then we need to compare our settings/hardware. I'm using a GTX 1080 Ti. I attach my options.lua along with my monitor setup.

If everybody here does the same, maybe we'll quickly find what you have in common that I don't.

I have 3 monitors attached for 2d DCS, 1 @4k and 2 @1080p. I only use one for DCS and cannot reproduce this bug unfortunately.

Then it might be likely it's a combination of things. Video card perhaps? I'm on a Radeon vid card, Windows 10.

Ok so no AMD/NVidia problem then.

I might as well post logs from both versions, there are some differences apart from the CPU-Core/Thread info.

For example the entry 'VISUALIZER (Main): cascade shadows init (preset:'default' quality:4 layers:4 size:4096)' doesn't show up in the MT version and there are some other differences.
