DCS at airshow „Aviation Pilgrimage“ airport Pardubice LKPD 28-29th of May 2022

I'm Paura CZ. I create tutorials in DCS World for Czech speaking pilots, I am also one of the managing members of multiplayer servers under the name /// MB2 \\\ and instructor of vir. squadron 1.Flight.

As part of the Czech community around DCS we were approached by members of the Czech Aviation Association CZAA for cooperation in developing awareness of aviation and aviatics in general.

As virtual pilots, we were invited as a performing team at the Aviation Pilgrimage public aviation event at Pardubice Airport 2023 to present the DCS World virtual simulator, our cockpits and our flying experience. This will be our second public participation where we present your DCS World simulator. So, I will tell you how we participated as newcomers in the Aviatic Pilgrimage in 2022. Pilgrimage in 2022.
Our presentation started on Friday at Pardubice Republic Square, where we had our computers/cockpits.
We had two virtual reality computers ready for visitors to try out the 6dof DCS cockpits. We had a big screen with loudspeakers.
The sound of Merlin engine or whistling Mi-24 rotors could be heard in the centre of Pardubice city. Our presentation was a demonstration of Czech and Czechoslovak aviation, where DCS allows to display military equipment in the colours of CZE and SVK: Spitfire, Mig-21, Mi-8 Mi-24, L-39,...

For the weekend we had the whole hangar in the centre of Pardubice airport at our disposal. Hangar 10. 
Our program included several points for visitors:

• Live flights in virtual reality in L-39 aircraft. Where a visitor as a co-pilot with VR tried out the DCS multicrew with our pilot. (5-10min flight).
• Presentation on a projector, where three pilots, a director and a commentator showed live demonstrations with communication, for example QRA, Air policing, interception of a non-responding aircraft. 
• Exhibition of our computers and cockpits.
• And of course the big screen where the DCS videos were running.

Children were the most interested in VR flying. ☺ Flying was continuous. This was our goal, with eight of our pilots taking turns for the day.
We had the honor of visits from prominent Czech pilots. Here the pilot of the JAS-39Gipen and the Flying Bulls Aerobatics Team, Mr. Čejka.

Over 10,000 people visited the Aviation Pilgrimage over the weekend. 300 visitors took turns at our two VR pilot seats of L-39.

Thanks to these three days we were invited again. This year 2023 we want to show a little more, to present ourselves more materially. 
It's about our passion and fandom for flying, for us virtual flying in DCS World. The event comes from our private money. If you would like to support us in this event, a partnership can be created.

Jsem Paura CZ. Vytvářím tutoriály v DCS World pro česky mluvící piloty, zároveň jsem jeden ze spravujících členů multiplayerových serverů jménem /// MB2 \\\ a instruktor vir. letky 1.Flight.

V rámci české komunity kolem DCS jsme byli osloveni Českým svazem Letectví ČsSL pro spolupráci rozvíjení podvědomí letectví a aviatiky obecně.

Jako virtuální piloti jsme byli pozváni jako účinkující tým na veřejné letecké akci Aviation Pilgrimage na letišti v Pardubicích 2023, abychom prezentovali virtuální simulátor DCS World, naše kokpity a naše zkušenosti s létáním. Bude to naše druhá veřejná účast, kde prezentujeme simulátor DCS World. Povím Vám tedy jako jsme se jako nováčci účastnili Aviatické poutě v roce 2022. Fotografie a videa jsou výše

Pouť v roce 2022. 
Naše pouť začala v pátek na Pardubickém náměstí Republiky, třídy Míru, kde jsme měli naše počítače/kokpity.
Pro návštěvníky jsme měli připravené dva počítače s virtuální realitou, kde jsme je nechali nasát 6dof kokpit DCSka. 
K dispozici jsme měli velkoplošnou obrazovku s reproduktory.  Centrem Pardubic se tak rozléhal zvuk motorů Merlin či hvízdání rotorů Mi-24. Naše prezentace se týkala ukázky českého a československého letectví, kde DCS umožňuje zobrazit armádní techniku v barvách CZE a SVK.: Spitfire, Mig-21, Mi-8 Mi-24, L-39,…

Na víkend jsme na Pardubickém letišti měli k dispozici celý hangár v centru letiště. Hangár 10. 
Náš program zahrnoval pro návštěvníky několik bodů: 

• Vývozní živé lety ve virtuální realitě v letounu L-39. Kde návštěvník jako druhý pilot vyzkoušel multicrew DCS s naším pilotem. (5-10min let).  
• Prezentace na projektoru, kde jsme se třemi piloty, režisérem a komentujícím předvedli živě zaletěné ukázky s komunikací například QRA, záchyt neodpovídajícího letadla. 
• Ukázka našich vystavených počítačů a kokpitů.
• A samozřejmě velkoplošná obrazovka, kde běžely videa DCS.

Největšího zájmu o VR létání měly děti. Létalo se nepřetržitě. To byl náš cíl, kde se střídali na celý den klidně osm našich pilotů.
Dostalo se nám pocty návštěv od významných českých pilotů. Zde pilot JAS-39Gipenu a Flying Bulls Aerobatics Team pan Čejka.

Za víkend akci navštívilo přes 10.000lidí, u nás se v kokpitu L-39 prostřídalo na 300 copilotů.

Díky těmto třem dnům, které se nám podařili jsme byli pozvání znovu. Tento rok 2023 se chceme ukázat o něco víc, více se materiálně prezentovat.

Any person interested in DCS and reading this email, obviously, would you be interested at exploring setting up a similar show as the (Prague Cz) at the Canadian Aviation and Space museum in Ottawa Ontario Canada. Montreal is 196 kms, Toronto 462 kms, New York 701 kms. You can literally fly into the airport. The museum is located at the Rockliffe airport www.ingeniumcanada.org. 

I am willing to explore options and possibilities in order to make this a reality.

The last weekend of May was very important for our czech virtual aviation groups MB2 and UVP. At Pardubice Airshow we could show visitors our experience with flight simulators. Our exhibition was at shelter n.10 where We flew with iconic machines like Spitfire, Mustang, Tomcat or even tried to land on an aircraft carrier with Hornet. Those who came to enjoy virtual reality sat in a two-seater L-39 with VR goggles and experienced a scenic flight with our pilot, including several aerobatic manoeuvres. We were especially pleased with the littlest visitors, whose talent was evident, so there will be no shortage of new sky protectors, rescuers and travellers later on. 

This year we prepared ourselves so that our exhibition place would be nicer, more visible. We created flags, posters and information board about what is DCS Wolrd, how to start in the game, what are the communities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Also this 2meters poster covers old furniture in shelter.:D 

For this years as news We brought two showcase Simpits and visitors can try fly on it in every module/aircraft they like. Like last year, we had two VR sets for sightseeing flight in two-seater machines. Multicrew RULES. 
On the projector and LCD screen we showed visitors a commented intercept of a non-communicating aircraft with forced landing.

Our team has 12 members at the Airshow and 4 pilots at home as helpers. 
It doesn't seem like it, but it's a lot of work at an airshow. Real pilots fly for 15 minutes during the day, and We with visitors flew for a full 8 hours. 170 people took turns on the VR sets and about 120 on my computer over the two days. No charges. Everything part of the show.

But our MB2 group and the UVP group are first and foremost enthusiasts, flying enthusiasts. 

Our multicrew pilots mainly transported children and there are unforgettable stories with them. They stretch their hands in VR into an invisible cockpit, etc.
We even made one disabled visitor cry because he was forbidden to enter any plane.

It was a great honour for us to have the visit of pilots Stanislav Cejka from Flying Bull Aerobatic Team, display pilot of 211th Tactical Squadron Capt. Ondrej Spanko, Vaclav Vasek, who had a book signing in front of the hive, as well as František Blahout, car racer and owner of the Korea Merkur Museum, who raced his Ferrari against Petr Kopfstein's Edge special. Then several veterans from the Iron Curtain era like a helicopter pilot who could ride with us again in his Mi-24 and other pilots from MiG29 from Zatec. And most importantly, we were visited by Olin, Olin's tiger(k) squadron from the Czech Aviation Association. We really enjoyed our new cooperation with the Czech RAF at the East Bohemian Theatre in Pardubice, where we made a special video of take-off Spitfires of the 312th and 313th Squadrons RAF

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2024.

This Year 2023 has been big for our czech community behind czech DCS servers. The biggest milestone for us was Airshow in Pardubice where our computers and flight was presentetd on DCS simulator. 
In 2023 We have 4 dedicated MB2 servers running simultaneously for combat or safely flying mainly for czech and slovak pilots.

So for 2024 We looking forward for third invitations for Pardubice Airshow and more new stuff in DCS World.

As gratitude and achievement in 2023, our czech 211th tactical squadron (Jas-39C Gripen) show us support for virtual aviations. They took our MB2 and UVP banges to 30K ft. 0,9Mach.

Za MB2 Vám přeju nové počítače, grafiky, monitory, ovladače či rámečky a ať Vám to bez problémů to virtuální létání létá .

V příštím roce se zdárně můžeme setkat už po třetí na Aviatické pouti v Pardubicích.

S rokem 2023 MB2 servery běžely na 3 PC s dohromady čtyřmi instancemi pro Vás české a slovenské piloty jak veřejně tak pro partnerské skupiny na zamknutých mapách.

Rozšířila se spolupráce s nově vytvořenou skupinou jejíž hlavní záměr je učit od začátku stroje v DCS, tak abyste poté pokročile zvládli ovládání klikatelných modulů v DCS.

AVS uskupení má letos rozjetou PvP kampaň na Jižním Atlantiku.

As last year We will build two showdown cockpits and two PCs with virtual reality for visitors to fly with us in Multicrew (10mins flight).
My simpit cockpit will be for test flights of everything. Furthermore, a projector with a microphone, TV screen and a large LCD screen in front of the hangar.

So take a seat in a cockpit.

For the third time, our team of virtual pilots participated in a large airshow in Pardubice. Once again, We brought our home simulators and showed out flying experience to the visitors.
The main thing was for the visitors to experience flying themselves.

For the third year, we have prepared only minor evolutions. Team jackets with badges (no sponsor). Printed leaflets with information about DCS and 3D printer. Also We showed Thrustmaster and WINWING products (no sponsor).
We could offer visitors sightseeing flights in multicrew machines or control of any aircraft offered by DCS.  For that We had two exhibition computers and three PCs with VR headset.
Our team has 15 members at the Airshow (+2pilots junior) and 4 pilots at home as external pilots. 
1th June It was children's day and our exhibition stand, hangar no. 9, was completely full. 27,000 visitors visited the Pardubice airshow over the two days, and 300 of them (tacview) flew L-39, F-14, AH-64 in VR headset or piloted F-18, F-16 Spitifire on their own.

It was rainy before noon. The planes had to stay in our hangar. It was a complication that we dealt with.

It was very extraordinary days. Once again, we have moved the awareness of simulators further and We got even closer to real aviation. Hopefully next time there will be even more of us so that We can take more visitors to our cockpits.

OPEN SKIES FOR HANDICAPPED 2024

With our simulators We were at an event for the handicapped people at the airport in Hradec Králové "LKHK". We let the big and small pilots sit in the virtual cockpits of unfamiliar DCS machines where They piloted themselves or with VR goggles in two-seater aircraft with our external pilots connected online. 
For some visitors, It's also the only way to get a taste of the flying experience when their health does not allow it.

We were visited by other distinguished guests. Part of the crew of a government Airbus A-319, They made an extra low pass . And pilot of JAS-39 Pavel Pavlik - commander of the 21st Tactical Air Wing in Čáslav, who had a virtual dogfight with his own son flying in nearby PC in F-16.

At the end, We got a surprise and were able to fly C-295 and L-410 transport aircraft.
